Personally, I'd love to see the historic building fixed up for future generations. A surfers town without its surf theatre is sad to say the least. This town revolves around surfing, yet has seen its soul dwindle. This town needs the Theatre and the surfing population should fight to see to it that the new owners fix it up and do it right. I believe the planning stage is currently on-going and imput can't hurt.

Yes, the property has issues. Parking being the main one. The building needs to be almost gutted and remodeled, but it can work.

I'd propose the old 'Bowling Alley' section be demolished for a two level subterrianian parking structure, and get the surfing industry to support the rennovations by either showing movies or getting the SurferMag Award Cerimony to hold it there for at least one year during its grand re-opening.

Any thoughts?
