Dear San Clementeans,
I turned this long-running site off a few months ago because I couldn't afford to keep it running after nearly 8 years. Besides, no one was paying any attention to it anyhow. It became like a ringing in the ear that people, after awhile, just got used to and ignored.
Yesterday, I noticed a big sign go up on the San Clemente Theatre property and decided to help the owner/seller find a buyer. I am going to keep paying for this site as long as the sign is up. With help or without.
I still have one request. Let's help find a buyer who has the historical aspects of the theatre and the city and citizens of San Clemente as his inspiration. Too many of the past owners seemed not to and have regretted their adventure with our theatre.
To the potential buyer/future owner of a Historic San Clemente Icon:
Save yourself a world of headache. Consult with entities within San Clemente who are dedicated to helping you and others like you from stepping into an overly ambitious project involving a historic building in San Clemente, only to be disappointed...and usually waste a lot of money in the process. We all hope you are successful in making the #1 WOW icon at North Beach live again; not as a Jack In The Box, but as a theatre as it was designed and intended to be. Read through this site and find out all about our theatre. Your theatre?
Good luck.
Call the San Clemente Historical Society. If you have any questions.
